Media Production and Photography
Norco College provides professional video projects and photography services to all Norco College mustangs and departments to support event productions and public information, promotional, and instructional purposes.
Videography
The Instructional Production Specialist plans, develops, and coordinates video projects in collaboration with personnel to target the audience for campus broadcast, website, and social media marketing such as:
- Events
- Student testimonials
- Program highlight videos
- College recruitment
- Social media videos
- Enrollment marketing videos
- Video scripts
To request services, please complete the request form seven days or more prior to the event and media release form with the request form or at the event.
Photography
The Instructional Production Specialist collaborates with personnel to capture images to document. Should you need images for photography services, images, and release forms, complete the request form below.

Photo Library
We have hundreds of fantastic photos of Norco College employees, students, events, and of our beautiful campus that are now available to you upon request. Please email requests to Ruth Leal at ruth.leal@norcocollege.edu. All pictures have a media release form on file unless the pictures were taken at an event. Pictures taken at an event do not require a release form.
Copyright Material
Copyright is a US federal law that protects original works of authorship that includes images on the internet. Without written permission from the author, you may not use images found on the internet.
BP 2720 Section H:
“H. Reproduction and/or distribution of copyrighted works, including but not limited
to, images, text, or software, without permission of the owner is an infringement
of U.S. Copyright Law and is subject to civil damages and criminal penalties, including
fines and imprisonment. Intentional violations of copyright law are federal crimes.
Users should consider the following: 1. There may be individual liability for monetary
damages for violation of copyright or breach of a license agreement. 2. Violating
copyright laws and their fair use provisions through inappropriate reproduction or
dissemination of copyrighted text, images, etc. is forbidden by law. 3. Violating
terms of applicable software licensing agreements or copyright laws is illegal."
BP 2750:
“Employees of the Riverside Community College District will abide by all aspects of
the Copyright Law, Title 17 of the United States Code, to the extent possible under
authoritative interpretation of the law. When atypical requests for the use of or
duplication of copyright materials occur, and where a clear interpretation of the
law is not readily available (documented) from a recognized authority, District counsel
will be contacted for an opinion/interpretation on the issue at hand."
Instructional Production Specialist vs District Photographer
The Instructional Production Specialist is responsible for photographs and videos requested from mustangs and departments for functions taking place at the College. The District Photographer is responsible for photographs taken at meetings/events held at the District Office and studio formal portraits.
Graphic Design
Graphic design that creates images and layouts uses color palettes, our brand logos, and words to create visual content that surrounds us in many forms—such as print, and digital media. Effective designs communicate efforts that inspire and inform our students and the community we serve.

Social Media
Social media is a communication tool that allows Norco College to connect with current
and future students by giving them a glimpse of student life. We highlight the diversity
on campus in all our events, activities, academic programs, services, and the family
culture that invites new students to join us.
If you have an activity or event you want to promote on social media, please complete the request form.
If you have a flyer already made, you can upload the flyer in the request form. It is recommended to create a custom graphic size 1080x1080 that will fit best on social media. Canva.com offers free accounts where you can build a social media graphic using the social media templates. Please use the colors, fonts, and logos in the Brand Guide.
