Transfer Success HousingOpening August 2025 Open to every student in the Riverside Community College District, the RCCD/UCR Transfer Success Housing project is a student-centric residential community featuring two state-of-the-art residential buildings with apartment-style units at the edge of the University of California, Riverside campus. 326 beds are allocated for qualified RCCD students attending the Norco, Moreno Valley or Riverside City colleges. About Transfer Success Housing
Make friends and experience what university life is like, even as you complete your first two years of college at Norco College, Moreno Valley College, and Riverside City College. You'll be living in California's first intersegmental dorm comprised of university and two-year college students.
This housing project is managed by Riverside City College in partnership with UCR. Norco College students are welcome to benefit and participate.

About this Student Residence
- North District is the first student housing community funded by the State Student Housing Grant (SB-169) featuring a partnership between a community college and a research university.
- Available units will be 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartments. Each room within the apartment is double occupancy, meaning a total of 4 students will share each apartment.
- You will be living in a mixed facility consisting of RCCD (Moreno Valley College, Norco College, and Riverside City College) and UCR students.
Student Eligibility
Norco College students are welcome to benefit by living at this affordable student-centric residential community. 326 spots are available to RCCD students, with students from each of the three colleges able to apply.
Students must meet eligibility requirements and complete the student interest form by April 28, 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year. Student status will be vetted and, if approved, a rental application offer will be extended. The contract must be signed by the stated deadline.
Rental Costs (2025-2026)
The lease contract is priced per person, per bed, and includes all utilities.
- Lease Period: August 23, 2025 – June 23, 2026
- Students may purchase optional UCR Dining meal plans, visit UCR Dining locations, and have access to an on-site fitness facility, cafe, and study spaces.
Most students enrolled in 12 units in fall/spring, and 6 units in the summer, will receive financial aid through Pell Grants, and will not need to pay out of pocket. Individuals that drop out of classes will be responsible to pay the remaining balance.
