Welcome to Health Services!
Student Health & Psychological Services at Norco College strives to engage students in making informed decisions about their health and well-being. Health and wellness strongly correlate with academic success. Missing class due to physical or mental illness could significantly impact your academic performance and, in most cases, can be prevented. Student Health & Psychological Services are available to students currently enrolled in a minimum of one credit and who have paid the Student Health Fee.

Norco College Student Health & Psychological Services is available to answer your
calls year-round for all your health and program needs. While we strive to be easily
and readily accessible, Student Health & Psychological Services is closed on weekends,
legal holidays, and days of observance.

Norco College is here to support you! In efforts to promote social distancing, we are offering both in-person and Telehealth services.
Psychological Services
Our caring Mental Health Counselors work with students to overcome various personal issues in their lives, including adjustment to college life, family/relationship issues, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, sexual assault, harassment, and more.
Here are a few things you need to know:
- One-on-one personal counseling sessions are 50 minutes long.
- No additional cost for registered students.
- All appointments are completely confidential.
- Counselors are available five days a week.

Norco College students have FREE, 24/7 access to virtual care services with TimelyCare — the virtual health and well-being platform from TimelyCare, designed for college students.
Students do not need insurance to access TimelyCare services. Download the app here. As part of Norco College’s partnership with TimelyCare, students have access to services in >TimelyCare, including:
- MedicalNow: On-demand support for common health issues, including cold, flu, and allergies.
- TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors.
- Scheduled Medical: Choose the day, time, and medical provider that best works for you.
- Psychiatry: Appointments are available through referrals.
- Self-Care Content: Visit the “Explore” page within TimelyCare for guided self-care content, including yoga and meditation sessions, as well as group conversations with our providers on a variety of health and well-being topics.
- Basic Needs Support: Access to low or reduced-cost community resources, including food and housing assistance, transit support, childcare, and finances.

Norco College Student Health Portal is a secure, convenient way to manage students' private healthcare online. This free self-service health management tool can improve interactions with Student Health Center, as well as document important healthcare information like immunization records. Students are now able to schedule appointments and complete required medical forms. Medicat patient portal gives students the ability to make more informed decisions about their health.

EDUMED STUDENT'S GUIDE TO EATING HEALTHY IN COLLEGE: Shows students affordable, fast, and simple ways to eat healthy in college (including some great recipes). EDUMED teamed up with a registered dietitian and a nutritionist so students can hear straight from professionals who know nutritious eating best and can provide insights on trends like fad dieting in college.
WELLNESS CENTRAL: A California Community Colleges Online Education Initiative Wellness Central is a free online health and wellness resource that is available 24/7 in your space at your pace. Everything in Wellness Central is confidential and anonymous data is collected only to track audience numbers.
HEALTHCARE MARKETPLACE: Need Health Insurance? Find health coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs.
CONNECT IE: Didn't find what you were looking for on our website or downloadable handbook... Try searching for free or reduced-cost services like medical care, food, job training, and more.
SUICIDE PREVENTION LIFELINE: If you or someone you know is thinking about hurting themselves please call The Lifeline 1-8 00-273-8255. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

Check out these apps with resources like psychoeducation about anxiety and depression, sleep logs, breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, crisis resources, mindfulness practice, and more! This suite of FREE apps was developed by the VA National Center for PTSD's Mobile Apps team and is available to everyone.
