Norco College’s Apprenticeship Program in Manufacturing Technology is an earn & learn training model where employers structure a career pathway by combining an educational track alongside paid on-the-job training. Throughout this journey, apprentices will earn valuable industry-specific skills and earn wages based on experience.

Launch Partnerships

LAUNCH is a multi-partner network capable of serving as a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) sponsor and as an intermediary connector of regional program sponsors with the primary focus of supporting industry’s needs for creating and expanding

As the primary subawardee of this grant, the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network plays a crucial role in bringing this vision to life. LAUNCH will:

  • Form a Multi-Partner Network: Serve as a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) sponsor and an intermediary to connect regional program sponsors, focusing on industry needs.
  • Expand Apprenticeship Programs: Broaden the scope of apprenticeships available in the Inland Empire.
  • Develop Public Sector Opportunities: Work on creating and growing apprenticeship opportunities within public sector roles.
  • Support Youth Pathways: Invest in large-scale efforts to create pathways for youth to enter apprenticeship programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

The apprenticeship program lasts anywhere from 6 months to two years, depending on the program and pathway you choose.

Apprentices have their tuition waived while they are in the program.

Wages vary and are determined by the employer that you interview with and are hired by. Each employer has a wage scale for each position that they offer.
 

You will earn a State Apprenticeship Certificate upon completing the Apprenticeship Program. If the program at your school offers a degree in the program, you choose you may work towards that degree while you are in the program.
