Mustang of the Month November 2023 Katie Arnhart

Katie was selected for her ‘can do’ approach to her work and the spirit of collaboration she brings to her department that reaches the entire campus. Katie’s nominator writes that she is the person “who will ALWAYS go above and beyond for students and colleagues alike.” By way of example, they write, “I have watched her run across campus to support a deaf student in Admissions and Records or General Counseling to ensure that the student has access to Norco College services.”

Katie is described as the go-to person for getting things done. She is the embodiment of our core commitments, dependable, efficient, and an expert in her field. To quote her nominator, “I have worked with Katie for 6 years now and I can say without a shadow of a doubt she has come into work every day with a smile, a positive attitude, and a passion to serve our students.” In this season of gratitude, we are grateful for all our Mustang family, like Katie, who lean into the joy that serving students brings.

Nominations are solicited from Norco College employees. The college president will select a recipient each month whose achievements fit the criteria.

Award recipients will receive corral bucks and college-wide recognition.
