Experience

Dr. Courtney Doussett became the Dean of Instruction at Norco College in January 2024. Dr. Doussett will provide leadership for our School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology and our School of Math, Engineering, Computer Science & Game Development (MECSGD).

Graduating with a Master of Science in Kinesiology from California Baptist University and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from California State University at San Bernardino, Dr. Doussett comes to us with 13 years of experience in the community college classroom. As a professor of Kinesiology at College of the Desert, she left her mark as a Department Chair, Outcomes & Assessment Chair, and Curriculum committee member. Of particular note, Dr. Doussett was instrumental in the development of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at the college.

In addition, Dr. Doussett served as the Dean of Health Science & Education at College of the Desert and as Dean of Kinesiology and Athletics at Santa Ana College.

With a proven record of success in leading and managing academic departments, Dr. Doussett is a wonderful addition to our Norco family.
