District Information Services has the responsibility of managing the District HelpDesk, microcomputers, and administrative information systems as well as the District-wide network, telephone, and voicemail systems.

Internet and E-mail Assignments

Information Services assigns e-mail addresses to all faculty upon receiving a new employee set-up form from Human Resources. Instructions on how to access email for full-time faculty are sent via interoffice mail to the department they are assigned to. Instructions for associate faculty are mailed to their home residences. The District also provides network connectivity (Internet access). Cabling and PC installed network interface cards are prerequisites for this service in District buildings. 


Telephone/Voicemail Service

All adds, moves, and changes to the District telephone system are handled through Information Services. The President's Office (951) 372-7016 will submit a work order for the requested changes through FootPrints.

Microcomputer Support

The Microcomputer Support staff has the responsibility of managing the administrative and academic computers for the District. The District HelpDesk is available to assist all faculty with issues related to Windows and Macintosh desktop and portable computer systems. Microcomputer Support is located at the Operations Center building Room 120.

When placing a work order, please provide HelpDesk as much information as possible including: 

  • Location (buliding and room number 
  • Computer station ID (a label sticker usually placed at the monitor 
  • Asset Tag (RCCD barcode usually placed on the CPU tower of a desktop) 
  • Computer Model/Make (if possible) 
  • a detailed description of the issue 
  • your contact information 



WebAdvisor is available for faculty to obtain class rosters, census rosters, lab attendance rosters, grade & positive attendance rosters and other miscellaneous forms and inquiries. The help desk can provide login assistance to faculty. Access WebAdvisor


ServiceDesk is the application used to submit requests to the HelpDesk, facilities, printing & graphics, for van reservations and warehouse requisitions. You can obtain a ServiceDesk account by contacting the HelpDesk.


25Live handles room reservations for meetings, tutoring sessions, and other events. You will need an account to request room reservations through 25Live. However, you are able to view room availability without an account. If you don't have an account, please contact the Professional Development Center for training. If you already have an account, you may login to 25Live. For help logging in, please contact the HelpDesk.
