Norco College serves our students, our community, and its workforce by providing educational opportunities, celebrating diversity, and promoting collaboration. We encourage an inclusive, innovative approach to learning and the creative application of emerging technologies. We provide foundational skills and pathways to transfer, career and technical education, certificates and degrees.
Dedicated and caring faculty and staff on our 141-acre campus serve over 15,000 students each year; preparing them to transfer to 4-year universities or to enter the workforce fully prepared for the career they have chosen. Norco College offers a curriculum designed to meet lower division general education requirements at four year institutions; special care is taken to insure transferability to any California State University or University of California campus. In addition, Norco College offers dozens of Associate Degrees and Certificates.

Academic Programs
Our academic programs (listed below) are listed in alphabetic order. Below is a brief
explanation of the different types of programs we offer:
Associate of Arts (AA): Degrees may be designed to meet specific areas of emphasis or may be in a particular discipline (such as Music). Students may choose to follow RCCD GE, CSU GE, or IGETC to satisfy their general education requirements.
Associate of Science (AS): Degrees may be designed to meet the Math and Science area of emphasis or may be in a specific Career and Technical Education program. Students may choose to follow RCCD GE, CSU GE, or IGETC to satisfy their general education requirements.
Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT): Designed specifically for transfer to CSUs.
Certificate (CERT): 4-30 units and designed for skill attainment for career and technical education. Often certificates are embedded within Associate degree programs.
Note: Students should meet with a counselor for advice on selecting the general education pattern that will best meet their educational and career goals.

Degrees & Certificates
Below are programs of study offered by Norco College and requirements for specific certificates and degrees. Students are encouraged to meet with a counselor for individual education planning.
Any request for a course substitution or waiver may be discussed with a counselor and must be submitted for approval to the Admissions and Records Office.
