Career Options
Career options for students who get a degree in anthropology include: criminology, development studies, journalism, and marketing. Anthropology students gain special understanding of human relations and expertise for jobs involving international or cross-cultural work, and social and ethnic diversity. Anthropologists are qualified to suggest, plan and implement policies affecting people, and identify needs for change.

Zachariah plans to major in psychology and minor in Anthropology, a field he was intrigued by after taking a class from Professor Alexis Gray.
“Her teaching style is very encouraging, very interesting, and something I really
got attached to,” Zachariah said.
