Araceli’s nominator writes about the amazing work she does in her leadership roles with the Faculty Association and as co-chair of the Art, Humanities, and World Languages department. They write that Araceli faces all issues with honesty, common sense, and a full heart; “she is not afraid to take a hard stand but also not afraid to compromise.” Araceli shines as a representative for her department in APC with insightful comments and recommendations made consistently and without fail with the lens of equity.
