Experience

Anthony (Tony) Puccio, joins Norco College as Director, Student Financial Services. Tony brings valuable experience in financial aid and is a great addition to the Enrollment Services division. 

Tony’s journey in higher education began after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Over the years, he’s had the privilege of serving students in various roles, from Enrollment Services and Academic Support to Student Accounts, Policy Writing, and Financial Aid. His career truly came full circle when he was appointed to supervise the Financial Aid Department at MiraCosta Community College in 2019—a place that had played a pivotal role in his own educational journey, when he started as a young student trying to navigate life’s challenges.

Serving students is Tony’s passion, and he is deeply committed to reducing barriers by ensuring that students have the financial resources they need to succeed. Every day, he is driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in student lives and increase access to different funding sources.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys spending time with his wife, 6-year-old daughter and a house full of animals. He’s also passionate about hands-on projects, hiking, camping, fishing, and continually learning new skills that help him grow as a person. Tony looks forward to working alongside all of you to make a lasting impact on our students’ futures.
