Through the assessment process, you'll receive placement in English and Math courses. These placements are determined based on the information provided in your admissions application. Students no longer complete a test.
All students, with the exception of concurrent and dual enrolled students, receive English and math placements during the admissions application process. If you need help understanding your placements, you are encouraged to meet with a counselor or an educational advisor.
Additionally, the orientation will help you become familiar with Norco College’s programs, services, and academic expectations. The orientation is completed online, at your own pace and consists of pre-recorded informational videos along with a holistic student support survey. The survey gives you a chance to share your academic and personal needs, and to request further information about services and resources that can help you throughout your educational journey here at Norco College.
If you're a first-time college student, completing the Assessment and the Orientation steps are really important. These steps along with meeting with an academic counselor will clear your requirements to enroll into classes on your registration date.
You should have received your Norco College student information in your email a few days after applying. If you did not receive it, please contact Admissions@norcocollege.edu or call (951) 372-7001
