Ted Jackson
Counselor
Ted obtained his bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California,
Riverside, demonstrating his early interest in understanding human behavior and societal
dynamics. Following his passion, he pursued a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from
California Baptist University. With a strong educational background and a wealth of
experience in the field of mental health, Ted brings a fresh perspective and an unwavering
commitment to promoting wellness within our community. Currently, Ted is completing
his dissertation at the University of Redlands, where he also lectures. Ted's passion
extends beyond his clinical practice, as he is dedicated to destigmatizing mental
health, particularly within communities of color.
Ted has supported and worked as a UMOJA, Veterans, EOPS, CTE, DRC, and general counselor
within and outside of RCCD. He thrives on working alongside others to achieve shared
goals, a trait that aligns seamlessly with our institution's ethos of teamwork and
student success. Beyond his professional pursuits, Ted is an active member of his
community as a Rotarian, reflecting his desire to give back and support the well-being
of those around him.
