Zarif Shehata holds a Ph.D. in Music 2007, Masters 1999, and Bachelors 1993 from Helwan
University. He has taught for more than twenty years in different institutions including
“Higher Institute of Musical Arts of Kuwait” (1996 – 2014), “Dasman Model school”
(2003 – 2008) taught children with special needs,” Faculty of Music Education” (1994-1995)
and Benha University (1993-1994). He has directed and participated in three concerts
that were recorded in the local newspapers of Kuwait. He has also published more than
four researches in educational music magazines and journals. In addition, Zarif is
a member of (MTAC) Music Teacher Association of California as well as a certified
music instructor of (ABRSM) Associated Board of Royal School of Music. The various
years of studying and practice allows Professor Shehata to bring a wealth of experience
and expertise to the classroom.
