Students Host Second FREE Swap Meet Compliments of Amazon

 

The Amazon Distribution Center in Eastvale partnered with Student Life at Norco College for the second time and donated pallets containing hundreds of food items. The donation was enough to stock the food pantry and host a free swap meet for Norco College students.

“This is perfect timing for students as they prepare for finals and the holidays," said Interim President Monica Green. “I cannot thank Amazon enough for giving back to their communities and for making sure that our students have the resources they need to build their best future."

Since spring of 2017, the Associated Students of Norco College successfully launched the Norco College Food Pantry. Over the last two years, the College distributed nearly 2,000 bags of food to enrolled students and received a $3,000 donation from Stater Bros., Inc. Find out how to donate here.
