Norco College released 41 new program pages to help students understand and navigate
certificate and degree options. Pages include career options, trailheads, major information,
and student/faculty profiles. The program pages have also been added to the A-Z index.
This week's program spotlight is on the Psychology program.
Psychology is the scientific study of brain, behavior, and mental processes. It is
an academic discipline and a social science which seeks to understand individuals
and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases.
Career Options
Career options for students who get a degree in psychology include: therapist, data scientist, manager, human resources officer, physician, researcher, career counselor, police officer, case manager, child care worker, sport psychologist, and parole officer.
