Norco College released 41 new program pages to help students understand and navigate certificate and degree options. Pages include career options, trailheads, major information, and student/faculty profiles. The program pages have also been added to the A-Z index. This week's program spotlight is on the Psychology program.

Psychology is the scientific study of brain, behavior, and mental processes. It is an academic discipline and a social science which seeks to understand individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases.

 

Career Options

Career options for students who get a degree in psychology include: therapist, data scientist, manager, human resources officer, physician, researcher, career counselor, police officer, case manager, child care worker, sport psychologist, and parole officer.

Ahmad graduated from Norco College in 2018 with an associates degree in psychology and transferred to UCLA. “I owe a lot to Norco College and I have absolutely no regrets, just gratitude,” Ahmad said.
