Yes, Norco College offers a support center called Unity Zone. At the center you can find information to access academic support, counseling, community resources, mentorship, and a welcoming environment for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies. More information is available at the Unity Zone.

Who can I contact for legal advice if I am undocumented?
Students can utilize the Unity Zone Website, which includes resources like TODEC and information about upcoming events where legal counsel will be available.
What do I do if I see ICE on campus?
Under the 2018 Legal Advisory 18-01, ICE should not be on campus and your information is protected under FERPA. You have the right to remain silent, do not have to answer questions about your immigration status, can request to speak with an attorney before answering any questions, and should not consent to searches without a warrant.
What are my rights as an undocumented student?

Can anyone at Norco College or RCCD release student information to law enforcement officials?
Not without official district permission from the President of Norco College. Student information is governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which protects student data
Since Norco College is an open campus, can law enforcement officials access all areas of campus without permission?
No. Although Norco College is a public institution, there are areas on campus that have limited access, including classrooms, locked offices, or areas marked as “authorized personnel” that cannot be accessed without official District permission.
Are there different rules for international students?
No. Campus policies also pertain to international students.
