Norco College warmly welcomed both new and returning students with a vibrant Welcome
Booth event, setting the stage for an exciting fall semester. The event took place
over two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, accommodating varying schedules with time slots
from 10 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm.
The Welcome Booths served as a hub of activity and information, giving attendees the
opportunity to explore booths from departments and clubs such as Student Services,
the Learning Resource Center (LRC), Math, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA),
Men of Color (M.O.C), Rocketry Club, Phoenix Scholars, Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(B.S.N.), UMOJA, Veterans Club, ASNC, and more.
At the event, ASNC promoted the all-new Mustang Student App with an incentive to download
the app – a choice between a FREE Chick-fil-A sandwich on Tuesday or a FREE Miguel's
Jr. burrito on Wednesday.
Other clubs and departments added to the festive atmosphere by engaging attendees
with giveaways, interactive games like spin-the-wheel, and insightful presentations
about campus life and services.
The success of the Welcome Booth event was a result of the collective efforts of Norco
College's employees and dedicated student leaders.
"Norco College is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment that supports
and engages our diverse student body. The Welcome Booth event is a reflection of our
dedication to making every student's journey here enriching and memorable," exclaimed
Dr. Edwin Romero, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Student Activities.
Norco College is looking forward to a great semester and academic year.
