MESA Coordinator
We are excited to welcome Azadeh Iglesias in her new role as the MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) Coordinator at Norco College! Azadeh brings over a decade of experience in education and a deep passion for student success to her new role.
Azadeh has been a dedicated member of the Norco College community for the past eight years. She began her journey in the Career Technical Education (CTE) department, then spent three years supporting students in the Engineering Pathways program. Most recently, she served in the Phoenix Scholars Program for over three years, where she continued to empower students to reach their academic and personal goals.
A proud Southern California native, Azadeh grew up in Orange County and began her higher education journey at Fullerton College, earning an associate’s degree in Child Development. She then transferred to California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Studies. Her commitment to education led her to pursue a master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne, along with a Pupil Personnel Services (P.P.S.) Credential.
Azadeh is passionate about helping students identify and achieve their educational, career, and personal aspirations. Her approach is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and a genuine love for guiding others through their academic journeys.
Outside of work, Azadeh enjoys a vibrant family life. She has been happily married for 15 years and is the proud mom of three energetic children, ages 11, 8, and 6, along with a playful yellow lab. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, watching sports, reading, and soaking up the sunshine.

Azadeh Iglesias had proudly served as a Student Success Coach for over seven years at Norco College where she supports and works with students to succeed in their Accelerated Certificate Employment (ACE) program while successfully navigating their way through the Norco College system. She believes building connections, providing support and encouragement is essential to a student’s academic, professional and personal growth. Ms. Iglesias has earned her Associate of Arts in Child Development at Fullerton College, a Bachelor’s of Science in Child and Adolescent Studies at California State University Fullerton and a Master’s of Science in Educational Counseling with a P.P.S. Credential at the University of La Verne. She has experience working with a diverse student population in both the K-12 and community college setting. Ms. Iglesias is passionate about helping others and is dedicated to serving students while providing the necessary resources to help students reach their academic, personal and professional goals. She is a proud parent to two beautiful children with one on the way and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
