Lenny Riley

Instructional Technology Specialist, Academic Affairs

Lenny Riley is the Instructional Technology Specialist in Academic Affairs. Although he doesn't work directly with students, the information he posts on the website and Student Support Hub about financial aid, registration, open classes, student services, and more helps students navigate their educational journey. Lenny believes in the education provided by Norco College so much that two of his three sons have attended NC since he began working here! For so many at the college, Lenny is the person to go with questions about Canvas, 25Live, Etrieve, software, applications, and more. As a member of the Classified Professional Development Committee, he has helped produce several successful Staff Development Days as well as the Guided Pathways Retreat in Feburary 2020. During the transition online due to the pandemic, he was vital in setting up Zoom workshops and assisting the presenters as everyone learned to use Zoom. He gave several workshops on Office 365, Microsoft Teams, LinkedIn Learning, Zoom, and more.

Lenny was selected as the 2021 Classified Professional of the Year.

Lenny embodies the mustang spirit and our core commitments each and every day. Lenny’s nominator tell us that “you will always find a smile on his face as he works tirelessly to ensure our website content is accurate and accessible to students.” It is well known throughout the college that his follow-through is impeccable! Lenny makes himself accessible for a multitude of technical questions and, as many of us have experienced, he patiently guides us through the troubleshooting process.
