Personal Preparedness

to fresh potable water or a grocery store. You may need shelter and should plan on
not having access to a working bathroom. This condition may persist for several days
7-10 before emergency aid and support could arive.
- Have a Plan
- Keep Supplies

- Get Involved
Depending on the emergency you are preparing for you may need different items.

Step 2) Design kits for your needs during that event
Step 3) Put kits in safe locations that you can access during an emergency.
(Home, Car, Office, etc..)

- You can survive for 3 Hours without shelter in a harsh environment (unless in icy water)
- You can survive for 3 Days without water (if sheltered from a harsh environment)
- You can survive for 3 Weeks without food (if you have water and shelter)
