You are invited to participate in an online survey that will determine the community’s transportation options such as zero-emission
carsharing program could best serve the communities of the Riverside Community College
District and the people who go to school or work at Moreno Valley College (including
the Ben Clark Training Center), Norco College, Riverside City College or the District
Office.
The District has been awarded funding to evaluate transportation gaps and identify
the mobility needs, preferences, and priorities of Students, Faculty and Staff in
under-resourced communities. Understanding how people travel to and from destinations
within their community, and what transportation challenges they face when doing so,
is important in creating equitable transportation system and improving neighborhood
mobility.
This assessment aligns with Board Policy 5775, Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility,
to promote initiatives that advance a sustainable environment. The evaluation will
ultimately guide future investments in sustainable, safe, convenient and affordable
clean transportation options for RCCD to serve its community including its students,
faculty and staff.
Please take the Online Survey here: Community Transportation Needs Survey. The survey will be available from May 10 through May 21.
