Norco College is proud to celebrate Disability Pride Month this July, honoring the diversity, achievements, and contributions of people with disabilities. Throughout the month, the college will focus on promoting awareness, inclusion, and accessibility within its community.

"Disability Pride Month is a time to recognize the strength and resilience of individuals with disabilities," said Dr. Monica Green, President of Norco College. "At Norco College, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all students, Managers, faculty, and classified professionals can thrive. We invite the entire community to join us in celebrating this important month."

Students, faculty, and classified professionals are encouraged to connect with the Unity Zone and the Disability Resource Center at Norco College. These centers provide essential support, resources, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect on campus.

The Unity Zone offers a welcoming space for all students to engage in meaningful dialogue, access support services, and participate in activities that promote diversity and inclusion. It serves as a hub for fostering understanding and building a cohesive community.

The Disability Resource Center is dedicated to ensuring that students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities and campus resources. It provides a range of services, including academic accommodations, assistive technology, and personalized support.

"Disability rights are civil rights, and we are proud to provide these resources and support to our community," said Dr. Greg Ferrer, Director of the Disability Resource Center. "Disability Pride Month is not only about raising awareness but also about empowering individuals and building a more inclusive campus."

Norco College encourages all students, faculty, classified professionals, and community members to learn more about the Unity Zone and the Disability Resource Center and to participate in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
