On Friday, March 15, Norco College hosted its second annual Industry Partners & Awards
Breakfast, a gathering that celebrated the synergy between academia and industry in
driving regional economic growth and workforce development. The morning began with
the President’s Breakfast, where distinguished guests, industry partners, educators,
and community leaders convened to honor recipients of the Industry Partner awards
and recognize the Alumnus of the Year. Following the awards ceremony, attendees participated
in a series of informative industry breakout sessions, engaging in focused discussions
on key topics relevant to their respective fields.
Dr. Monica Green, President of Norco College, opened the event, expressing gratitude to attendees for their support and commitment to fostering educational excellence and workforce preparedness. The breakfast event, held at the Norco College Amphitheater, provided a platform for attendees to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Industry Partner awards were presented to the Corona Police Department and Temple Beth El Child Development Center, highlighting their exemplary partnerships with Norco College in providing career pathways and work-based learning opportunities for students.
Additionally, Dr. Dariush Seif was honored as the Alumnus of the Year in recognition of his remarkable journey from a Norco College student to a sought-after professional in the field of mechanical engineering.
