Norco College proudly announces the success of its Phoenix Scholars Program, which enhances the educational achievements of current and former foster youth. This year, the program celebrated 13 Phoenix Scholars graduating and recognized 51 students who completed the academic year.
The Phoenix Scholars Program is committed to providing greater access to higher education and supporting the academic success of foster youth. Through personalized guidance, mentorship, and resources, the program creates a nurturing and empowering environment for students to thrive.
To honor our Phoenix Scholars' hard work and accomplishments, Norco College hosted a celebratory event filled with joy and camaraderie. The evening began with a formal dinner, recognizing students for their academic achievements and dedication. The celebration continued with engaging games and a community-building bowling outing, fostering unity and support among the students.
"We are incredibly proud of our Phoenix Scholars and their determination to overcome challenges and achieve their educational goals," said Dr. Monica Green, President of Norco College. "Their success is a testament to their resilience and the supportive environment cultivated by the Phoenix Scholars Program. We are committed to continuing our efforts to provide these deserving students with the resources and support they need to succeed."
The Phoenix Scholars Program at Norco College focuses not only on academic success but also on community and personal development. By offering a comprehensive support system, the program ensures that students are equipped with the tools they need to navigate their educational journey and beyond.
Norco College remains dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive campus environment, where every student has the opportunity to excel and achieve their dreams. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the Phoenix Scholars for their outstanding achievements and look forward to their continued success.
