Norco College will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a community service event on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. The event will engage students and employees in hands-on service activities while reflecting on Dr. King’s values of justice, equality, and community.

The first 75 participants to sign up will receive an exclusive MLK Day of Service T-shirt. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided. Students, classified professionals, faculty, and administrators are encouraged to sign up for the event using the registration link.

Participants will engage in service projects designed to foster unity and empowerment, actively contributing to positive change and carrying forward Dr. King’s legacy of selfless service. Volunteers will reflect on their experiences throughout the day, discussing civic responsibility and social justice, while strengthening the bond between the college and its surrounding community.

Volunteers will be assigned to one of four service opportunities, with three off-site locations and one on-site. Transportation will be provided for all off-site activities.
