Megan Lindeman, associate professor, has been selected as the interim director for Norco College’s Art Gallery. Lindeman, who joined the faculty at the College in 2014, has worked in museums and galleries. In 2013, she co-founded an artist-run space called Chime&Co. in Silverlake, a residential neighborhood in Los Angeles. There she curated shows.

Lindeman maintains a studio art practice and has shown her work at Big Pictures in Los Angeles, Blake and Vargas in Berlin, and MoMA PS1 in New York. She has been a guest lecturer at UCLA's Art/Sci Center + Lab and other art organizations. Lindeman began her studies at a community college (Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado). She earned her B.F.A. in Painting and Art History from Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 and a master’s degree in Painting from Claremont Graduate University in 2008. Her interests include surfing, dancing and neuroscience.

“I am excited to continue the tradition of service for the community as well as lay new groundwork to provide progressive and innovative artistic opportunities for the community in the future," Lindeman said. “I hope the NC Art Gallery can be a place for expression and connection so that we all may connect deeper to ourselves and each other during these relatively divisive and volatile times.”

The Art Gallery is currently hosting an Alumni Art Exhibition.
