Dr. Tenisha James, our Dean of Student Services, was recently recognized by the College Futures Foundation as the leader who is driving change for California community colleges. Dr. James
leads both Guided Pathways and student equity and achievement for Norco College. She
centers equity and student voice strategically and operationally throughout the campus,
in deep partnership with faculty, counselors, and classified professionals.
Norco College congratulates Dr. James for this momentous statewide recognition. In
the words of President, Monica Green, "We have an opportunity to celebrate a rock
star among our ranks." Thank you Dr. James for your service and your commitment to
excellence at Norco College. You are guiding students to access a robust set of resources,
creating a supportive structure for positive learning experiences, and advancing our
