As Cybersecurity Awareness Month comes to an end, Norco College, in partnership with Riverside Community College District (RCCD), is encouraging students to participate in the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. This collaborative effort reflects the district’s commitment to equipping students with the skills necessary to protect their digital identities and navigate online spaces safely.

Students can access the KnowBe4 training through the district’s secure Microsoft portal using their @student.rccd.edu accounts. The training offers practical strategies for identifying phishing emails, safeguarding personal data, and following best practices for cybersecurity.

“Cybersecurity is a vital skill in today’s academic and professional environments,” said Norco College’s IT Services department. “Through our partnership with the district, we are providing students with essential tools to protect themselves and contribute to a safer college community.”

By working together, Norco College and the district aim to create a culture of security awareness and foster safe digital practices among students.  Completing the KnowBe4 training will not only enhance students' understanding of cybersecurity but also prepare them to meet the challenges of an increasingly digital world.

For questions or help accessing the training, students can contact Norco College’s IT Help Desk or visit the Student Services Center for assistance.
