Parking Rules

RCCD Police and Parking Services enforces parking regulations and the California Vehicle Code 7 days a week, 24 hours a day at all college campuses, education sites, and district locations. Under AP 6750 Parking, all vehicles must display a valid District permit, a District- or College-issued temporary permit, or use metered parking any time the vehicle is parked at a college or district location.

Permits

Every vehicle that parks on Norco College must have a permit to park. Most permits are virtual and assigned to your student/employee record and license plate. Virtual permits are assigned to your license plate; semester or annual permits are not printed. Daily permits that are printed at on-campus machines should be displayed on your vehicle dashboard.

Parking Basics

Enforcement and Safety

Citations are assigned for parking rule and vehicle code violations. These range from failure to display or have an active permit, parking in the wrong locations, blocking access to spaces or campus locations, expired vehicle registration, and more.

If you receive a parking citation, you may appeal it. On the back of each citation is information on how to contest the citation, and details about the process are available on the RCCD Parking Services webpage.

Upon request, escort services are available to walk you to and from your vehicle. Escorts are available from 8 am to 10 pm, Monday through Friday. Community Service Officers of the Norco College Police Department (dressed in either a blue vest or a blue shirt) will provide you with escort services, in addition to campus information. Contact the Dispatch Center at (951) 222-8171 to request an escort at any of the three RCCD colleges.
