The Norco College Volunteer Corps Program, now in its second year, has made a significant impact in 2023-24 academic year by providing 209 hours of free landscaping and home improvement services to senior citizens, a veteran, and a nonprofit organization in the Norco and Corona areas.

Additionally, the students within the program made an impact by participating in the Martin Luther King (MLK) Day of Service in February, collaborating with the City of Corona Fire Marshal to clean up an empty lot in Corona.

We thank the forty-six volunteers, including students, CPROS, managers, and River Heights Intermediate School students, for their dedication. The success of this program is due to their hard work. President Monica Green provided her appreciation by stating “thank you for your hard work and your willingness to spread goodwill. I am grateful for you and our amazing volunteers”.

As the 2023-24 academic year concludes, the program will host a summer event to assist the STEM Club in preparing the STEM Center for a community garden. An announcement will be sent to nor-all soon to recruit additional volunteers.
