Norco College welcomed car enthusiasts, students, and community members to its 2nd Annual Cruising Into Culture Lowrider Show on Friday, Oct. 2, bringing together more than 100 vehicle entries for an evening celebrating lowrider culture, music, and community.
Hosted by Norco College’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee, Associated Students of Norco College (ASNC), and Association of Latin@ Advocates for Student Success (ALASS), the event featured custom lowriders, bikes, music, local vendors, and campus resources. ODM of A Lighter Shade of Brown was also in attendance.
The evening’s awards ceremony recognized participants and their vehicles, with winners including Joe Castro, Michael Langi, Vincent Torres.
“I enjoy coming to events like this because it gives us a chance to connect with the community, meet people who share our passion for lowriding, and introduce others to a culture that means so much to us,” said a show attendee.
The annual event brings together students, car enthusiasts, and community members to appreciate the craftsmanship, creativity, and cultural expression showcased through lowrider vehicles.
