Norco College's Music Industry Studies program is gearing up for its highly anticipated Battle of the Bands competition. The event, set to take place on November 9, 2024, promises to be a highlight in the college's calendar, bringing together music enthusiasts from across the region. It will offer a golden opportunity for local bands to showcase their talent and compete for significant prizes.

The competition will unfold in multiple rounds, starting with round 1, which requires each band to submit by September 1, 2024. Bands are encouraged to submit their contact information, social media links, and recordings here. Finalists will be notified by mid-October and advance to the final showdown in front of a live audience on November 9, 2024, at the Norco College Amphitheater.

The Battle of the Bands competition offers enticing prizes designed to propel the winning bands to new heights in their musical careers.

First place: The winner will receive a paid performance slot at NOMU Fest 2025 and the opportunity to record a professionally mixed and mastered EP in the Norco College recording studio.

Second place: The runner-up will get to record a professionally mixed and mastered song.

Third place: The second runner-up band will receive a $100 gift card.
