In preparing Fall courses for our Spring ACCJC visit, I have been asked frequently if there is a checklist that we can provide to Department Chairs and IDSs to inform faculty about what DE faculty should incorporate in their online courses.  I have attached a checklist of items that are required by various agencies, and also some best practices that instructors should include in their Canvas courses.  Could you please help distribute this checklist to departmental IDSs and chairs?  Hopefully, this will be something that can easily be handed to new and continuing DE faculty and provide guidance in building effective online courses.
