The RCCD Board of Trustees approved Kaneesha Tarrant, Ed.D. to serve as the new Norco College vice president of Student Services

VIce President of Student Service, Dr. Tarrant

Tarrant has served as the interim vice president of Student Services for Norco College since November 2018.  She comes to us from Los Angeles Trade-Technical College where she served as vice president of Pathways and Student Affairs.

Prior to LA Trade-Tech, Tarrant served as the dean of Counseling and Student Support Services at Long Beach City College and held several dean positions in outreach and relations, student services, and outreach and recruitment. She also served as an adjunct assistant professor at USC for twelve years. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Boston University, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.

Tarrant's broad experience in student services and tireless efforts to improve the student experience through guided pathways will continue the important work Norco College is already doing to implement the Guided Pathways framework.

She recently moved to Eastvale and in her spare time she enjoys chauffeuring her daughters Micah (8) and Jordan (4) to gymnastics, ballet, and Disneyland.  She also enjoys reading, traveling to visit friends and family, and community service through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
