The Norco College Rocketry Team, supported by dedicated students, advisors, and alumni, excelled at the FAR-OUT Tournament in the Mojave Desert, securing three awards making the team the most awarded team.

This year's team displayed remarkable teamwork and innovation. Achievements include first place in Category A (5,000'-15,000'), recognition for most efficient engine, and accolades for best engine sound.

The team's success was augmented by advisors like MESA Coordinator Patricia Gill, Assistant Professor of Physics Lindsay Owens, Assistant Professor of Chemistry Weining Cui, Assistant Professor of Electronics Khosrow Rad, Associate Professor of Mathematics Lana Borissova, Assistant Professor of Mathematics Bibiana Lopez, and Associate Professor of Manufacturing Technology Paul Van Hulle, who offered guidance and expertise. UC Riverside's team and Norco College's student body also contributed significantly to gathering materials for the project.

Current student members included: Carlos Rios, Chris Antony, Nervana Nawwar, Jesus Andrade, Hitha Antony, Chloe Gonzales, Ashlyn Jorgensen, Alvaro Sanchez, Jesse Vargas, Aaron Rockholt, Karan Makkar, Tobias Tyler, Nathan Taschner, Gage Shaddock, Jacob Teeter, Jason Daniel, and Justin Blackburn.

President Monica Green commended the student team by stating “they are such an inspiration to the college community.”

Overall, the team's achievements affirm their leadership in the field, underscoring their relentless effort and collaborative ethos.
