The path to the championship was characterized by camaraderie and dedication, exemplified by the 15 celebrated sophomores at the start of the game. These young athletes have served as the team's foundation, showcasing leadership, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to excellence throughout their time at Norco College.
In a nail-biting match against San Bernardino Valley College, the Norco College Men's Soccer Team secured a 2-1 victory. The game was a true test of the athletes' determination and perseverance, as they fought relentlessly for the full 90 minutes. Their execution on the field was nothing short of exceptional and has set a new standard in the history of the program.
The scoring for this monumental victory was led by Dominic Kienzle (Sophomore, #7), who found the back of the net in the twentieth minute with a stunning goal, assisted by Dakotah Medina (Freshmen, #12) and Vinicius Goncalves (Freshmen, #16). The second crucial goal came in the sixty-second minute, a beautiful strike by Carlos Zuniga (Sophomore, #21), assisted by Dominic Kienzle, securing the win.
