Town & Country Day School Earns President’s Partnership Award

Norco College | Mar 27, 2026

Town & Country Day School was recognized with the President’s Partnership Award during the Norco College Industry Partners Awards and Breakfast on March 13, honoring their outstanding commitment to Norco College’s Early Childhood Education students.

Founded in 1961 by Allen and Betty Bash, Town & Country Day School is one of the region’s longest-standing early childhood education providers. Transforming a small property into the first state-licensed preschool and daycare center in the Norco-Corona area, the school has remained family-owned and committed to nurturing young learners. Its developmentally appropriate curriculum is enhanced by expansive outdoor spaces, gardens, and engaging play environments that foster academic, social, and physical growth. With small class sizes and professional staff, the school emphasizes safe, interactive learning experiences that support children’s development in mind, body, and spirit.

The lasting impact of Betty Bash’s work in early childhood education continues through her son, Kevin Bash, a longtime advocate for youth programs, scholarships, and Norco College initiatives. His involvement in advisory committees and shaping curriculum helps ensure students and the community benefit from high-quality educational pathways.

Program Director Carla Reyes of Town & Country Day School shared, “The legacy of the Bash family and Town & Country Day School has shaped generations of educators and learners. Their commitment allows our students to grow in confidence, skill, and passion, while reinforcing the importance of strong community partnerships in early childhood education.”

The partnership between the school and Norco College has been especially meaningful for aspiring early childhood educators. For many years, the school has hosted Corona-Norco Unified School District Career Technical Education (CTE) students during their practicum placements, providing supervised, real-world experience in a professional early learning setting. This collaboration connects classroom instruction with practical application, offering mentorship from experienced professionals and preparing students for careers in education.

By fostering strong ties between K–12 CTE programs and local childcare providers, Town & Country Day School continues to strengthen post-secondary enrollment, dual-enrollment opportunities, and the pipeline of skilled educators ready to serve the community. This recognition reflects the school’s enduring impact on students and the broader Norco College community.
