Norco College | Apr 30, 2026

Norco College proudly welcomed students from the Corona-Norco Unified School District for its annual CTE Field Trip Day on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The event brought more than 250 students from seven local high schools to campus for an immersive introduction to Career and Technical Education pathways.

Throughout the day, students rotated through seven engaging sessions featuring hands-on program demonstrations, interactive activities, and opportunities to connect directly with faculty. Showcases included Manufacturing Technology, Music Industry Studies’ Studio Arts Ensemble, Business and Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Crime Scene Investigation, Makerspace demonstrations, and Game Development and Game Art, along with a guided campus tour. Lunch was also provided, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for exploration and connection.

The event offered high school students a firsthand look at Norco College CTE programs while helping them explore high-demand, high-skill career pathways. By engaging directly with instructors and experiencing real-world applications of these fields, students gained valuable insight into their future academic and career possibilities.

The success of this annual collaboration is made possible by Norco College’s dedicated host teams, including the CTE team, College and Career Counselors, Educational Resource Advisors, and Student Success Coaches, whose collective efforts ensure a meaningful and inspiring experience for all participants. Special thanks are also extended to CTE faculty for creating impactful learning experiences and expanding access to college.
