Starting Wednesday, October 21, students will receive an invitation through their
student email that includes a unique link specific to them. Students, please check
your student email. The NACCC survey content is based on more than a decade of the
USC Race and Equity Center’s qualitative climate studies at colleges and universities
across the country. In addition, a 14-member content team comprised of race, equity,
and inclusion experts from across the United States convened to identify the most
salient survey content areas and questions today in the field of campus racial climate.
WHAT IS THE NACCC?
So, what is the National Assessment of Collegiate Campus Climates? A new national
quantitative survey on campus racial climate specifically designed for undergraduate
students at community colleges and 4-year institutions. This is where your voice can
be heard to create change!
WHY SHOULD I TAKE THE SURVEY?
Take the survey to be an active participant in inspiring change on your campus. With
your answers, college and university leaders will receive valuable information that
they can use to improve the racial climate on campus and the experiences of all students.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE MY TIME TO COMPLETE YET ANOTHER SURVEY?
By completing this survey, you are an active participant in inspiring change on your
campus. Your voice matters! As a student, you know your campus better than anyone.
Without your input, important aspects of campus life may be unintentionally ignored.
But with your answers, college and university leaders will receive valuable information
that they can use to improve the racial climate on your campus and the experiences
of all students.
Students who complete the NACCC survey will be automatically entered into a drawing
where 40 students will each win a $25 gift card to the Norco Book Store.
