The Inland Empire Electrical Training Center and Norco College celebrated the graduation
of their Electrical Apprenticeship Program on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Doubletree
Hotel in Ontario, CA. The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the hard work and
dedication of the 98 graduates. It marked the culmination of a rigorous training program
that prepares students for successful careers in the electrical industry.
The apprenticeship program is a collaborative effort between the Inland Empire Electrical
Training Center (IEETC), the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), and Norco College. The program
provides students with a comprehensive electrical theory and practical application
education. The program is designed to be completed in five years and includes classroom
instruction, on-the-job training, and hands-on experience.
The graduates were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to becoming
skilled journeymen. The graduates were joined by their families, friends, and instructors
to celebrate their achievements. The ceremony included recognition of the graduates
who received honors for their exceptional academic performance and dedication to the
program, including Outstanding Apprentices Awards. These students received a Journeyman
certificate from the State of California Department of Apprenticeship Standards and
a Norco College certificate.
Norco College and IEETC are committed to providing high-quality education and training

industry.
