Mayte Estrada

Student Resources Specialist, Foster Youth Support Network Phoenix Scholars

Mayte (Mai-teh) Estrada serves our foster youth in the Phoenix Scholars Program as a Student Resource Specialist. Mayte will be working with our local CNUSD high schools to provide support and engagement activities to foster youth from the admission process to financial aid and priority access to support programs. Mayte comes to us from Long Beach City College where she worked directly with their NextUp and Guardian Scholars Program as a Success Coach. Mayte already holds a wealth of knowledge in working with foster youth and is eager to engage with our students. She is passionate about giving back and supporting foster youth through encouragement as they navigate their personal and academic journey in college. In her free time, Mayte enjoys hiking and exploring new coffee shops, therefore is open to any local recommendations!
