Student Voice
Ryan Cortez
Ryan received an associate of arts degree in Business Administration from Norco College before transferring to California Baptist University to earn his
bachelor's of science degree in Business Administration and master's degree. Ryan
credits Norco College with giving him room to grow.
“Norco College absolutely influenced my career path. I originally started out as a
history major. I wanted to go and teach high school and coach, however, I explored
some different options here, took some business classes, and decided that a business
was the way for me to go,” Ryan said. “One of the instructors that had the biggest
impact on me was Professor Arend Flick. (He) really challenged me to think outside
the box, put a whole entire new light on what critical thinking was and taught me
some skills that I used all throughout my college career.”
