Mustang of the Month - December 2023
Her nominator writes, “Anyone who knows Hayley knows her to be meticulous, diligent,
detail-oriented, and hard-working. Dr. Hayley Ashby exemplifies Norco College's core
commitments and embodies the Mustang spirit.” Dr. Ashby has been instrumental in supporting
the planning efforts of the college in a number of ways that support student transformation,
college transformation, and effectiveness, planning and governance. Since her transition
to Norco College, she has served in several important roles. For example, her diligence
and expertise in leading our accreditation efforts, particularly our Midterm Report,
has been invaluable and has positioned the college well for the transition to the
new ACCJC standards. Additionally, her contributions have greatly benefitted the college
from the groundwork for the approved Document Control Proposal, which will assist
in the next Norco College 5-year SPGM development.
Please join us in commending Hayley for being a highly engaged member of the college
and faculty through her involvement in Academic Senate, governance, and in supporting
the equity efforts of the Norco College library. Her engagement in student facing
programming in the library, as well as her contributions in the Library Guided Pathways
plan are evidence of her commitment to student access, equity, and success!
