Economics is the study of the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth. Economics studies how people use resources and studies decision-making.

Economics majors are successful in a wide variety of careers. Although various roles in businesses are most common, economics majors are successful in law, medicine, government, non-profits, and international relations, as well as in academic roles.

Any request for a course substitution or waiver may be discussed with a counselor and must be submitted for approval to the Admissions and Records Office.
