Business administration is management of a business. It includes all aspects of overseeing and supervising business operations. The administration of a business includes the performance or management of business operations and decision making, as well as the efficient organization of people and other resources.

Listed below are programs of study offered by Norco College and requirements for specific certificates and degrees. Students are encouraged to meet with a counselor for individual education planning.

30 UNIT CERTIFICATE - 60 UNIT ASSOCIATE DEGREE
LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT prepares students for entry into or career growth within the logistics industry, and ongoing study of the field. Our focus is integrated logistics, a necessity for management of supply chain cost and customer service. Logistics disciplines covered include warehousing, transportation, service contracting, purchasing, global logistics, and more.

9 UNIT CERTIFICATE
The REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON & TRANSACTION certificate prepares students to qualify for the California Real Estate Salesperson license and to successfully take the California Real Estate Salesperson exam. Prepares students to buy, sell and lease, and to represent others to buy, sell and lease residential and commercial real estate property.

30 UNIT CERTIFICATE - 60 UNIT ASSOCIATE DEGREE
The RETAIL MANAGEMENT/WAFC program has been fully endorsed by the Western Association of Food Chains. It prepares individuals for success in supervisory and management positions within the grocery industry, as well as other retail settings. This includes instruction in over-the-counter and other direct sales operations, basic bookkeeping principles, customer service, team/staff leadership and supervision, floor management, and applicable technical skills.

The Entrepreneurship: Legal and Finance certicate includes courses intended to help students who are interested in pursuing entrepreneurship to develop skills in financing, legal issues, and applied accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses.

18 UNIT CERTIFICATE - 60 UNIT ASSOCIATE DEGREE

Registered Individual & Small Business Income Tax Preparer
4 UNIT CERTIFICATE
The REGISTERED INDIVIDUAL & SMALL BUSINESS INCOME TAX PREPARER certificate prepares individuals to become a registered income tax preparer. This course is certified by the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) as fulfilling the 60-hour qualifying education requirement imposed by the State of California for becoming a Registered Tax Preparer.
Small Business Accounting Small Business Accounting
6 UNIT CERTIFICATE
Upon completion of SMALL BUSINESS ACCOUNTING, students will be trained and able to perform the basic duties and responsibilities required of an entrylevel accounting clerk or bookkeeper utilizing accounting software.
Small Business Payroll Accounting Small Business Payroll Accounting
6 UNIT CERTIFICATE
Upon completion of SMALL BUSINESS PAYROLL ACCOUNTING, students will be trained and able to perform the basic duties and responsibilities required of an entry level payroll accounting clerk.
