bodily structure of humans, animals, and other living organisms, especially as revealed by dissection and the separation of parts.
Careers related to the study of anatomy include biologists, clinical research coordinators, medical scientists, and dieticians and nutritionists.
Physiology is the branch of science that deals with the functions and activities of life or of living matter (such as organs, tissues, or cells) and of the physical and chemical phenomena involved.
Careers related to the study of physiology include physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, dentists, optometrists and physician assistants.
