Norco College CTE presents the Community for Academic Progress (CAP) Program

Norco College is expanding our CAP program to 7 learning community groups for next year.  Similarly to the way students must apply to Culinary or Cosmetology at RCC, these programs will require a supplemental application (located in Webadvisor).  There are no prerequisites; a random lottery will determine selection. The application will be made available only on 4 days: June 22nd at 12:01 am until June 25th at 11:59 pm

What is the CAP Program?
A new learning community program which guarantees classes in 7 Career & Technical Education programs to complete a Norco College certificate in just 4 semesters.  This is a pilot program which aligns with the Student Success Task Force recommendations and it also helps us meet federal grant objectives requiring certificate completions.

What Certificate Programs are included?
Students can apply to the 7 certificate program options listed below. Noted in parentheses is the number of students that will be accepted into each cohort.

  1. Commercial Music: Performance (16)

  3. Game Art: Character Modeling (24)
